Betty Smith

Betty Smith, an accomplished technology executive, currently serves as the Technology COO and Head of the OCIO at New York Life Insurance Company since May 2013, with prior positions including CIO of the Foundational Insurance Business and VP of Enterprise Integration Services & Data. With a robust background in IT solutions and quality assurance from roles at Mercer HR Services and John Hancock Financials, where Betty enhanced service management and risk governance, previous experience also includes significant contributions at Physician WebLink as VP of Product Development & Technical Services and at Pilot Software as Director of Product Validation. Betty holds a Dual Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership and Project & Operations Management from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Daniel Webster College.
