Eliza C. Hagen

Eliza C. Hagen is an accomplished medical professional and executive with extensive experience in neurology and healthcare management. Currently serving as Corporate Vice President at New York Life Insurance Company since May 2023, Eliza also holds the position of Medical Director for North America, Neuromodulation at LivaNova, and has been with Alameda Health System since August 2016, where roles include Medical Director for Critical Care EEG and Epilepsy as well as Chief of Neurology, Interim. Previous roles include Physician Representative at The Queen's Medical Center and various positions during a fellowship and residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Eliza began a career in clinical research at Rush University Medical Center and has been involved in significant work on embryonic neuro-transplantation. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of Hawai‘i and an MD from the University Of Medicine and Pharmacy, along with a Master's in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
