Krishna Prashanth Madabushi

Krishna Prashanth Madabushi is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the insurance sector, currently serving as Vice President and Lead Data Scientist at New York Life Insurance Company since January 2017. In this role, Krishna oversees a team of over 15 data scientists, focusing on innovative analytical solutions across various business areas including Finance, Actuarial, Marketing, and Investments. Prior to New York Life, Krishna held leadership positions in data analytics at Verisk Insurance Solutions and TransUnion, specializing in insurance analytics and predictive modeling. Krishna's earlier experience includes work as an Associate Actuary at Allstate and as a Consulting Actuary at Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, complemented by a background as a Loss Analyst Intern at MS Finteq. Krishna holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Clemson University.
