Sara Badler/Nylim

Sara Badler has extensive experience in the financial services and legal sectors, currently serving as Senior Managing Director and Head of Legal and Compliance at New York Life Investments since 2009. Additionally, since 2012, Sara Badler has held the position of Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Investments Counsel at New York Life Insurance Company, following a role as Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Vice President. Prior to these roles, Sara Badler was Executive Director and General Counsel at Van Kampen Investments from 1999 to 2002 and held various associate counsel positions at OppenheimerFunds from 1987 to 1992. Educational background includes a degree from Cornell University.
