Sergei Kent is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in financial planning and renewable energy. Currently serving as a Financial Planning Specialist at New York Life Investments since May 2022, Sergei previously held roles as a Paraplanner and Finance Specialist at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC from August 2021 to May 2022, where goal-setting and financial guidance were key responsibilities. Prior to their financial career, Sergei worked in the wind energy sector, starting as a Wind Turbine Technician at ACCIONA from January 2017 to January 2018, then serving as a Resource Technician II at Vestas from May 2018 to September 2021, where tasks included maintenance and troubleshooting of wind turbine systems across the country. Sergei began their professional journey in the US Navy as an Electronic Technician from June 2010 to June 2016, focusing on the maintenance and repair of advanced radar and communication equipment.
