Ben Demarest

Ben Demarest is an experienced production professional with a diverse background in theater and performance. As the Production Manager for The Treehouse Shakers since March 2018, Ben oversees production operations. Ben has served as the Lighting Designer for Julie Mayo Dance Company and as the Production Coordinator at New York Live Arts since 2014 and 2010, respectively. Additional roles include Technical Assistant and Light/Sound Board Operator at The Chocolate Factory from 2010 to 2023, and Assistant Technical Director for Vogue Magazine's 130th Anniversary Fashion Show at Astetyx in 2022. Ben's previous positions also include Production & Facilities Manager at the Center for Performance Research, Overhire Electrician at Lincoln Center Institute, and various technical roles across several companies. Ben holds a Bachelor's degree in Theater Design and Technology from SUNY New Paltz, earned in 2009.
