Joanna Nikas

Joanna Nikas currently serves as the Deputy Style Editor at The Cut for New York Magazine, a position held since August 2021. Previously, Joanna worked at The New York Times from September 2011 to January 2022 as a Senior Staff Editor, where responsibilities included conceptualizing articles, assigning writers, editing pieces, fact-checking health trends, and managing the New York Times fashion Instagram account. Joanna's early experience includes an internship at the Public Broadcasting Service in 2010-2011. Joanna holds a Master's Degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Politics from New York University.
