Gena Cheng

Gena Cheng is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in private equity capital raising, specializing in real estate. Currently serving as Managing Director at Prospect Avenue Partners since August 2019, Gena also holds board member positions at New York Mortgage Trust, Inc. and Generation Income Properties. Previous roles include Managing Director at USAA Real Estate and Forum Partners, as well as Managing Director and COO at JT Partners LLC. Gena began a career at ABP Investments US as Portfolio Manager and worked as an Associate at Morgan Stanley and Arthur Andersen. Gena holds an AB in Architectural Theory and Design from Princeton University, an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, and a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.
