Danielle B. Shalov

Volunteer Mediator at New York Peace Institute

Danielle B. Shalov serves as the ADR Administrator at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York since December 2022, following a diverse legal career. Shalov has been a Volunteer Mediator for the New York Peace Institute since February 2009, supporting victims of crime and abuse through Safe Horizon. Prior roles include Assistant Deputy Chief Appellate Court Attorney at the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, Second Department, and Director of the Representation in Mediation Clinic, as well as Adjunct Professor at both the Elisabeth Haub School of Law and New York Law School. Additional experience includes mediation work at DS Mediation Partners, business affairs at Character Arts LLC, and roles at The Fund for Modern Courts and prominent law firms. Shalov holds a JD from Cardozo School of Law and a BA from Kenyon College.
