Jerry Chiang is currently an MBA candidate at The Wharton School, with prior experience as an Associate Board Member for the New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (NYPACE) since May 2022. In the role of Senior Product Manager at TikTok from February 2024 to August 2024, Jerry successfully launched a new engagement monetization product and established foundational strategy before leaving for the MBA program. Previous positions include Product Manager roles at Reddit, Inc., where marketplace monetization products were led, and WeWork, where global space accessibility for members and partners was enhanced. At Rystad Energy, Jerry launched the company's first business intelligence solution and was recognized with an early promotion. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan focusing on technology M&A. Educational qualifications comprise dual Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and a semester abroad at Lund University.

New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (NYPACE) is a non-profit organization formed to stimulate job creation and sustainable economic development by providing pro-bono consulting to under-represented, under-resourced entrepreneurs in New York City. NYPACE provides a unique opportunity both for entrepreneurs who aspire to realize a strategic vision as well as for volunteers who seek to effect change through a community service context. The NYPACE program strives not only to support the development of community-based entrepreneurs, but also to engender an open dialogue between two disparate communities with the ultimate goal of improving both.
