Lead Running Coach at New York Road Runners

Telisa Walter is an experienced program analyst at the U.S. Department of Labor, serving since January 2007 in various roles, including the Women's Bureau and as a senior immigration program analyst with the Employment and Training Administration. With expertise in policy, research, human resources, and program operations, Telisa has led teams and developed effective strategies in areas such as recruiting, retention, and employee engagement. Additionally, Telisa is a lead running coach for New York Road Runners, providing coaching for runners of all levels. Previous experience includes working as a counselor and case worker at Catholic Charities and a recruiting specialist at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Telisa holds a Master's degree in Counseling and Organizational Psychology from Adler University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Illinois State University.
