Robert Harrison is a seasoned business advisor with extensive experience in supporting manufacturing firms. Currently serving as a Senior Business Advisor at the New York Small Business Development Center since July 2017, Robert focuses on providing specialized assistance to manufacturing firms. Prior to this role, Robert worked at Stony Brook University from July 2017 to June 2022 as a Business Advisor, where expertise was applied in advising Long Island manufacturing firms, drawing from over 35 years of operational experience in five manufacturing companies, including a successful start-up. Key areas of hands-on experience include inventory and production control, production planning, Lean Manufacturing, and sales and marketing strategies.
