Viju Jacob

Viju Jacob, MD, FAAP, has extensive experience in pediatric medicine and healthcare leadership, currently serving as Vice Chair and Board Member for the New York School-Based Health Foundation since January 2019. In a longstanding role at URBAN HEALTH PLAN, INC. since July 2003, Viju Jacob has contributed as Medical Director/VP Medical Affairs, focusing on COVID-19 pandemic response and implementing clinical policies. Previous positions include Assistant VP Medical Regulatory, Policy and External Affairs, and Associate Medical Director, with a track record of institutional policy design and accreditation leadership. Additionally, Viju Jacob served on the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Council on School Health and held various leadership roles within the New York School Based Health Alliance. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Health Science Center-Brooklyn and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from CUNY-Sophie Davis-School of Medicine.
