Jamie Zieno

Jamie Zieno currently serves as Chief of Staff in the Office of Senator Jeremy Cooney at the New York State Senate, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Jamie was the Director of Upstate Affairs and Capital District/North Country Regional Director at the Office of the New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli from March 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included representing the Comptroller to local governments and constituents in 18 counties. Earlier experience includes serving as Campaign Committee Director for Tom DiNapoli's 2018 campaign, Field Director for Leslie Danks Burke's State Senate campaign, and holding various roles at the NYS Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee. Jamie Zieno earned a Master’s Degree in Political Communication and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University at Albany.
