Latoya Matthew has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Counsel for New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera since March 2013. Prior to this role, Latoya worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Erie County District Attorney's Office from September 2011 to February 2013 and held the position of Legal Fellow for the Hon. John A. Michalek at the New York State Unified Court System from September 2010 to September 2011. Latoya earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the City University of New York School of Law, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Rutgers University - Newark, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Sociology from Dickinson College.
