Steven Koch

Steven Koch is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in public service and private practice. Currently serving as Senior Counsel, Conference Ethics Counsel, and Parliamentarian for the New York State Senate since October 2021, Steven previously held roles as Supervising Attorney and Staff Attorney at The Bronx Defenders from September 2018 to October 2021. Additionally, Steven was a Fellow at the Center for Court Innovation, participated in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California as a Law Clerk, and worked as an Associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP. Early career experience includes serving as an Investigative Analyst in the Major Economic Crimes Bureau at the New York County District Attorney's Office. Steven holds a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, supplemented by studies at Sciences Po.
