Tawab Royan has extensive work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Tawab currently holds the position of Director of Operations at New York Shipping Exchange (NYSHEX). Prior to this, Tawab worked at Hamburg Süd for many years, holding various roles including Director, Product and Yield Management, Director, Business Information Management, Manager, Product Management/Marketing and Contracts, Pricing Manager, Marketing Analyst, Pricing Analyst, and Global Bids Coordinator. Tawab has also worked at Columbus Line, where they held positions in Export Customer Service and Equipment Control/Logistics. Throughout their career, Tawab has successfully managed and improved various departments, increased export volumes and revenues, optimized yield through negotiations and market expansions, and supported commercial activities to drive customer value.

Tawab Royan has a degree in International Business, specifically a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Benedictine University. Tawab also holds a Dipl.-Betriebswirt degree in International Business from Fachhochschule Kiel.
