Fernando Veliz

Fernando Veliz is a certified Physician Assistant with extensive experience in orthopedic spine care. Currently, Fernando serves as a Physician Assistant Certified at the New York Spine Institute and as an Orthopedic Spine Physician Assistant at both NYU Winthrop Hospital and Mercy Medical Center, as well as at St. Francis Hospital. In these roles, Fernando collaborates closely with surgeons and hospital staff to address orthopedic spine pathologies in the operating room. Prior to these positions, Fernando completed a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at the CUNY School of Medicine and gained clinical experience across various medical specialties. Additionally, engagement in volunteer roles and research positions has contributed to Fernando's well-rounded skill set in patient care and support.
