Gal Shargil-Yaari currently serves as the Corporate Relations Manager at HSBC, overseeing the Israeli-American corridor of innovation banking and fostering sustainable growth for Israel IVB. Simultaneously, Gal is a founding member of the New York State Bar Association’s ESG Committee and has established the Corporate Responsibility Association at Columbia Law School to enhance the application of ESG in legal practices. With prior experience as a Senior ESG Advisor at Rho Impact, Gal has contributed to various initiatives including legal research on social impact and ESG during tenure at Columbia Law School. Previous roles include Social Impact Director at the Israeli-American Council, Legal Associate at Pearl Cohen, and Director of Resource Development for the Israeli Navy SEALs Alumni Foundation. Gal holds an LLM in ESG regulation from Columbia University and an MA in Corporate Responsibility from Tufts University, alongside BA and LLB degrees in Political Science and Law from Reichman University.
