Pamela McDevitt serves as the Executive Director of the New York State Bar Association since February 2017. Prior to this role, McDevitt was the Law Practice and Technology Group Director at the American Bar Association from March 2010 to February 2017, where responsibilities included leadership of various divisions and development of tools for member satisfaction and revenue growth. Earlier experience includes Director of Law Practice Management at the New York State Bar Association, overseeing the law practice management program, and attorney roles at The Hoffman Law Firm focusing on estate planning, Medicaid planning, and real estate law. McDevitt's legal career also includes serving as a Labor Law Attorney for the U.S. Department of Defense and as part of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate Generals Corps. McDevitt holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Rivier College.
