Mike Kozak has extensive experience in risk management and public safety, currently serving as the Risk Management Coordinator for NYS West Youth Soccer Association since April 2012. As the Owner/Principal of ALS Tri-County Sports since January 2010, Mike supports rural sports clubs and associations. Previous roles include President/Owner of X4 Echelon, providing consulting in public safety and information logistics until September 2022, and Investigator at McCabe Associates, Inc., focusing on private investigations and operational security from October 2012 to March 2020. Mike also supervised MRC operations at Navitech Services and served as a Public Safety SME at ECC Technologies. Mike's career began at the Rochester New York Police Department, where Mike was Chief Information Officer from 1985 to 2006, managing the department's computing and cyber-security systems. Mike holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

The New York State West Youth Soccer Association (NYSWYSA) is the parent organization for over two hundred affiliated clubs and leagues in Western New York State. NYSWYSA is affiliated with US Youth Soccer, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and the Federation de International Football Association (FIFA). NYSWYSA includes all New York State counties to the west and on Interstate Rt. 81. This area is broken up into districts, each of which is managed by separate commissioners.
