Alison (Clarvit) Binder is an experienced educator specializing in special education, currently serving as a Special Education Itinerant Teacher at Bank Street College of Education since August 2023. Alison has held various roles, including Special Education Teacher Support Services Provider and Special Education Itinerant Teacher at New York Therapy Placement Services, Inc. from January 2022. Prior experience includes work as a Life Skills Coach at A Very Special Place, Inc. and a Special Education Lead Teacher at Manhattan Star Academy, where Alison applied Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to teach students with developmental disabilities. With a strong educational background encompassing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Hunter College and previous degrees from the University of Maryland, Alison has developed a comprehensive skill set in individualized instruction, data analysis, and curriculum design across diverse educational settings.
