Shannon Baxevanis

Shannon Baxevanis is an experienced communications and public affairs professional currently serving as the Director of Communications & Public Affairs at New York Transco since September 2023. Prior to this role, Shannon operated as a consultant focused on public relations, government affairs, and strategic engagement for clean energy infrastructure projects across the Northeast from May 2017 to October 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Manager of Stakeholder Relations for Complex Infrastructure Projects at National Grid, overseeing multi-billion dollar infrastructure initiatives, and as Deputy Director at the National Association of Regional Councils, where Shannon represented local governments and shaped federal policy. Additional roles include Director of Research & Corporate Communications at Williams Mullen and Associate at Blakey & Agnew, focusing on coalition-building and grassroots mobilization. Shannon holds a degree in Humanities and Spanish from Providence College and has education from Boston University and Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo.
