Josie Duckett-Boyd is the Manager of Individual Giving at the New York Women’s Foundation. Josie has over 25 years of experience in fundraising and development, with a focus on nonprofit organizations.
Josie started their career in 1991 as the Director of Program Planning & Development at Family Support Systems Unlimited, Inc. Josie then spent eight years at the Nonprofit Finance Fund, where they were responsible for securing loans and grants totaling $80M. In 2000, they founded Duckett & Associates Fundraising Group, a consulting firm that provides fundraising services to nonprofits.
Josie has a proven track record of success in raising funds for nonprofits. Josie has played a key role in raising over $4.5M for the Boys and Girls Clubs, and their work has helped numerous other organizations achieve their fundraising goals. In their current position at the New York Women’s Foundation, they are continuing their work to support nonprofits and help them grow and thrive.
Josie Duckett-Boyd has a Master's degree in Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University Schools of Social Work and Business, a Bachelor's degree in Social Work / Political Science from Skidmore College, and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from New York University.
