Chris Sellers has extensive experience in communications and development, currently serving as the Director of Communications and Development at Lutherwood since August 2007. In this senior leadership role, Chris oversees both the Communications & Marketing and the Lutherwood Child & Family Foundation departments, collaborating across the organization to achieve strategic and operational goals. Previously, Chris held significant positions in various organizations, including Manager of Public Affairs & Communications at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and Director of Public Affairs at CAA South Central Ontario. Chris's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and multiple professional certificates in strategic planning and non-profit marketing from York University and Carleton University. Additionally, Chris has demonstrated a commitment to community development as a board member of Leadership Waterloo Region.

Starling Community Services (formerly Lutherwood) is a progressive, not-for-profit that annually provides children's mental health, employment, and housing services to more than 16,000 people with diverse identities within Waterloo Region and Wellington County.
