Andrew Nelson is an experienced editor and photographer with a background in environmental advocacy and architectural documentation. Currently serving as the Editor of SF YIMBY since September 2020, Andrew has previously contributed as a writer and photographer for susGain and New York YIMBY, where efforts focused on community and environmental engagement. Additional roles include assisting SHoP Architects in photography and archiving, interning in archive and digital management at Julie Saul Gallery, and event photography for esteemed venues and events, including Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò and the Global Citizens Festival. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from New York University and a Master's Degree in Design from LASALLE College of the Arts.
