Luba Poliak is an accomplished concert pianist and experienced educator currently serving as a Piano Faculty member at the Manhattan School of Music since July 2024, and at Bard College's Pre-College program since 2011. Luba has been involved with the New York Youth Symphony as a Chamber music coach since October 2019 and has taught at the 92nd Street Y since February 2007, providing individual lessons and coaching chamber music groups. Performance experience includes regular recitals and collaborations across the US and internationally under the name Luba Poliak since August 1999. Additional teaching positions include a previous sabbatical role at the University of Houston in 2017 and various faculty roles at Lawrence University between 2013 and 2016. Education includes a Doctorate in Piano Performance from Stony Brook University and degrees from Middlebury College, the New England Conservatory of Music, and Tel Aviv University.
