Rhys Evans

Rhys Evans has extensive experience in military leadership and strategic engagement, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Strategic Engagements - Global and C-130J Capability Integration Lead at the New Zealand Defence Force since January 2021. Prior to this role, Rhys held various positions within the Royal New Zealand Air Force from September 2003 to January 2020, including Personal Staff Officer to the Chief of Air Force, Hercules Flight Commander, Air Warfare Instructor, and Air Warfare Officer. Rhys holds a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from Victoria University of Wellington and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Auckland University of Technology.
