Josh Trewin

Josh Trewin is an experienced sports and data professional currently serving as a Data Scientist and Sport Scientist for the New Zealand Football Ferns since January 2023. Prior to this role, Josh has held various positions including Data and Insights Lead at solarZero and Founder of Futbol AnalysR, both since 2020, as well as Applied Performance Scientist for Vancouver Whitecaps FC from April 2018 to June 2020. Additionally, Josh has acted as a Sport Science Consultant for the Canadian Soccer Association, contributing to training load monitoring and data management from September 2015 to July 2019. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy from Auckland University of Technology and multiple degrees in Sport and Exercise Science from Wintec.
