Yi Chen

Yi Chen is a Scientist/Project Leader at Scion, specializing in sustainable and functional electronics manufacture and applications. Prior to Scion, Yi was a Postdoc Fellow at the University of Alberta working on water purification via nanocomposite, and at Western University conducting research in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. Additionally, Yi worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Inha University focusing on cellulose paper fabrication and applications. Yi also spent time as a Visiting Researcher at Florida State University/National High Magnetic Field Laboratory exploring the alignment of cellulose nanofibers. Yi holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Inha University.
