Ahmed Farag has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management, currently serving as the Group Health and Safety Business Partner at New Zealand Health Manufacturing since May 2022. Previously, Ahmed worked at The Griffin's Food Company as a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor from February 2019 to May 2022 and held the position of Health, Safety and Environment/Quality Assurance Manager at Precision Foundry LTD from October 2017 to January 2019. Ahmed's career also includes a role as Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Senior Specialist at WEPCO from December 2008 to May 2016, where strategic plans and emergency response strategies were developed. Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science with a focus on risk analysis techniques from IGSR and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Environmental Science from Alexandria University.

Founded in 2014 New Zealand Health Manufacturing Limited (NZHM) was established to meet a growing demand for New Zealand made dietary supplements for both domestic and international markets. Having established strong relationships with its founding customers and developed a reputation for quality, NZHM has grown to become one of New Zealand's largest Contract Manufacturers. Specialising in the manufacture and packing of softgel, hardshell, tablet and powder health and nutritional products, NZHM now employees over 170 employees and produces over a 1 Billion capsules per annum.
