Cameron Munro has extensive experience in diplomatic and policy roles within the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade since February 2015, currently serving as Senior Policy Officer in the Office of the Chief Executive. Previously held positions include First Secretary (Political) and Second Secretary (Political) in Washington D.C., focusing on congressional liaison and bilateral relations. Cameron's career also includes a secondment as a New Zealand Exchange Fellow with the U.S. State Department and various roles at Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand and the New Zealand Parliament. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of Otago and graduated from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2012.
