Todd Croad is a seasoned professional in climate change policy and negotiations, currently serving as the Chief Negotiator for the UN Climate Change at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade since January 2021. Previously, Todd held various roles within the ministry, including Acting Unit Manager and Deputy Head of Delegation for UN Climate Change Negotiations. Prior experience at the Ministry for the Environment from August 2015 to December 2020 included positions as Senior Policy Analyst and Policy Analyst focusing on International Carbon Markets. Todd holds dual degrees from the University of Otago, having earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Politics and a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Energy Management.
