Gail Conner

Gail Conner is an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in managing payroll systems and teams across various organizations. Currently serving as Payroll Manager and Senior Payroll Specialist at KiwiRail since June 2019, Gail specializes in all aspects of payroll, including business as usual (BAU) operations and system functionality. Prior to this role, Gail was Payroll Team Leader at NZ Police, leading a team of 12 while utilizing SAP, Successfactors, and WFM Kronos. Gail's experience also includes serving as Snr Payroll Coordinator at Fire and Emergency NZ, overseeing end-to-end payroll processes, and working as a System Administrator at Bupa Care Services, where contributions included the implementation of Workday. Gail's career in payroll began at CCDHB in Wellington as Payroll Supervisor, establishing a solid foundation in the field.
