James Nimmo

James Nimmo is an accomplished process improvement manager with extensive experience in operational excellence and project management. Currently at KiwiRail since January 2022, James has successfully led the implementation of Lean Management tools that enhanced safety performance and customer delivery. Previously at Fonterra from August 2003 to January 2022, James held various roles, including Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager, and Continuous Improvement Lead, where significant efficiency improvements were achieved across warehouse operations and distribution centres. James's educational background includes a Bachelor of Management Studies with First Class Honours from The University of Waikato and a Diploma in Project Management from the Southern Institute of Technology.
