Jonathan Abad

Jonathan Abad has extensive work experience in the engineering industry. Jonathan is currently working at KiwiRail as the Quality & Risk Assurance - Lead since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Alstom from 2014 to 2022, where they held various roles such as Senior Quality Engineer, Project Quality and Safety Manager, Senior QA/QC Engineer, and QA/QC Engineer. Before joining Alstom, Jonathan worked at Balfour Beatty Rail as a QA/QC Engineer from 2011 to 2014. Jonathan also worked at DE Consult as a Structural Draftsman from 2010 to 2011 and at CPG New Zealand as a Structural Detailer from 2008 to 2009. Jonathan's earliest work experience was at MERALCO, where they worked as a Design Engineer from 2006 to 2008. Overall, their work experience spans over 16 years and includes roles ranging from engineering design to quality assurance and risk management.

Jonathan Abad completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Mapúa University from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education in San Beda College from 1994 to 1998.
