Trevor Halkett

Trevor Halkett currently serves as a Senior Advisor in Communications and Engagement at New Zealand Red Cross, a position held since May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Communications Manager, Senior Copywriter, and Copywriter at Farmlands Co-operative Society Limited from June 2013 to February 2022. Trevor began a career in journalism at Wairoa Star Limited as a Cadet Journalist and later worked at Academy Publishing Group and Hawke's Bay Community Newspapers. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and Political Science from the University of Canterbury and received education at Wairoa College and Napier Boys' High School.
