Kristena Aasberg-Potratz is the current Director of Residential Community Sales and Service at NEWALDAYA LIFESCAPES. Kristena has over 20 years of experience in retail management and specialty leasing. Prior to their current position, they were a Specialty Leasing Manager at both Jones Lang LaSalle and GK Development, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the specialty leasing programs at three different shopping centers. Kristena was also responsible for leading and generating income, negotiating deals, controlling expenses, projecting budgets and forecasts, reconciling accounts, and maintaining tenant relations.
In 2006, Kristena transitioned to their role as General Manager of Main Street Center at New Aldaya Lifescapes. In this role, they were responsible for the daily operations of the center, including but not limited to sales, marketing, event planning, budgeting, and property maintenance.
Kristena began their career in 1986 as a Store Manager at Musicland Group, Inc. Kristena held this position for 18 years before moving into retail management and specialty leasing. Throughout their career, Kristena has demonstrated their ability to successfully manage multiple retail locations while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Kristena is a proven leader with a track record of success in retail management and specialty leasing.
Kristena Aasberg-Potratz completed their Bachelor of Arts in Criminology at the University of Northern Iowa. Kristena then attended Hudson High School. After graduation, they became a licensed real estate agent in Iowa.
They are on a team with Breanna Staker - Director of Culinary & Hospitality Services, Jess Kennedy - Director of Programming, and Emily Millard - Director, Nursing. Kristena Aasberg-Potratz reports to Millisa Tierney, Executive Director & CEO.
