Catherine Klinger Kutcher

Catherine (Kate) Klinger Kutcher serves as the Chief of Climate and Health at Newark Alliance since March 2024, where leadership focuses on city-wide workforce, supply chain, and housing strategies related to climate and health. Previously, from June 2023 to March 2024, Catherine was the Executive Director of the Governor's Office of Climate Action and the Green Economy, spearheading climate and environmental policy development under Governor Phil Murphy's vision. Catherine has held various roles in climate and health initiatives, including Senior Policy Advisor and Vice President at the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative, and has extensive teaching experience in environmental health at the University of Pennsylvania. With a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology from Saint Joseph's University, Catherine has a robust background in managing health interventions and promoting safe housing initiatives.
