Gail A. Braxton

Gail A. Braxton has been working in the field of behavioral health since 1985. Gail A. began their career as a Social Worker II at Rockland Psychiatric Ctr. In 2011, they became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor at Upper Manhattan Mental Health Center, Inc., where they supervised LCSW, LSW and LMHC workers at an adult out-patient clinic and provided therapy and counseling services. In 2017, they joined NEWARK COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS, INC. as a Behavioral Health Program Manager, where they identified and treated individuals for mental health and co-occurring disorders. Currently, they are the owner of Gail A. Braxton, LLC, where they work as an LCSW/Therapist.

Gail A. Braxton holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from New York University, which they obtained in 1984. Gail A. also holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, which they obtained in 1982.
