Georg Hegewald

Georg Hegewald has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Georg is currently the Commercial Director at Neways Electronics International NV since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Sales at TE Connectivity from 2021 to 2023, where they led sales for customized microelectronic imaging sensors. Before that, they worked at First Sensor as the Deputy Manager Sales / Export Control Officer from 2016 to 2021, and as the Key Account Manager / Export Control Officer from 2016 to 2018. Georg also worked as the Supply Chain Manager at Microelectronic Packaging Dresden GmbH from 2011 to 2015. In the gaming industry, they worked as a Teammanager at Fnatic from 2009 to 2010 and at SK Gaming from 2008 to 2009.

Georg Hegewald completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IESE Business School between 2021 and 2023. In 2022, they attended ISE Business School for a program in Business in LATAM. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a degree in business administration (Betriebswirt) from Wirtschaftsakademie IHK Dresden. In terms of certifications, Georg obtained the Exportkontrollbeauftragte im Unternehmen (Export control officer) certification from AWA AUSSENWIRTSCHAFTS-AKADEMIE in 2015, the Der Zollbeauftragte (Customs representative) certification in 2014, and the Manager Export/Zoll (Export/Customs) certification from IHK Dresden in 2012.
