Julie McCrary has a diverse work experience with a strong background in data and information. Julie currently serves as the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness at Newberry College, a position they have held since September 2019. Julie McCrary earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina from 1987 to 1991. Julie also obtained additional education in the field of Montessori Teacher Education from Lander University from 2007 to 2009. In 2009 to 2011, they pursued Equine Specialist studies at the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association. Lastly, from 2016 to 2017, they attended the Academy for Coaching with Horses, focusing on Socially Intelligent Leadership, Self Awareness, and Communication.
