Michael Oneil

Michael O'Neil is an accomplished Emergency Medicine Physician currently serving at Newberry County Memorial Hospital since August 2018. Previous experience includes positions as an ED physician at Lexington Medical Center from April 2016 to July 2018, and as an Attending Physician at St John Medical Center from July 2013 to March 2016. Michael O'Neil completed a PGY-IV year at St. John West Shore Hospital from July 2012 to June 2013. Academically, Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University. Additionally, a residency in Emergency Medicine was completed at St. John Medical Center from 2009 to 2013. Currently, Michael is pursuing a degree in Health Care Administration at Des Moines University, expected to conclude in 2023.
