Igor Shakirov

Team Leader and software developer (independent contractor) at NewBlue

Igor Shakirov has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software development and research. Igor started their career as a Device Driver Developer and Software Developer at Darim Vision in 1999, where they worked until 2004. In 2000, they joined Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics as a PhD Associate Professor, where they managed scientific projects and provided lectures and practical training on Computer Science and OOP. In 2004, Igor became the Head of Software Development at Computer Vision Systems. Igor also worked as a Team Leader and Software Developer at Digilant Systems from 2004 to 2006, and as a Team Leader and Software Developer (independent contractor) at NewBlue, Inc from 2007 onwards. Additionally, Igor worked at ISPMS SB RAS as a PhD Senior Researcher from 2004 to 2015, where they conducted analysis of images of surfaces of pressured solid bodies and engaged in computational studies of mechanical properties of materials.

Igor Shakirov's education history begins in 1993 when they enrolled in the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics. Igor pursued an Engineer's Degree in the field of Radio, Television, and Digital Communication, completing their studies in 1999. In the same year, they also started their Ph.D. program at the same university, focusing on Computer Science, Digital processing, and Mathematical modeling. Igor successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2004. Additionally, they pursued another degree during their time at the university, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) between 1999 and 2003 with a specialization in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General.
