Asif A.

Asif A. has work experience in various software development roles. They started as a Junior Software Engineer at Tryonyx in February 2019, where they designed, developed, and deployed cross-platform mobile applications, collaborated on an eCommerce mobile application, and developed a Restful API for web and mobile applications.

In 2021, Asif A. worked as a Research Intern at Loria, where they collaborated in designing the architecture of NoozyAI - Video Recommender Engine Framework for noozy.tv, a project for a regional Video-on-Demand platform supported by the French government.

In 2022, Asif A. joined Wärtsilä Voyage as a Software Developer on Autonomous Ships. They worked on autonomous ship technology until January 2023.

Currently, Asif A. is working at newboxes as a Software Developer, starting in July 2023.

Asif A. attended the University of St Andrews from 2021 to 2022, where they pursued an Erasmus Mundus Joint MSc in Advanced Systems Dependability with a specialization in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, they studied at Universite de Lorraine for the same degree program, focusing on Formal Methods for Safe Software. Asif has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and Engineering, which they obtained from United International University from 2014 to 2018. In terms of additional certifications, Asif has completed various courses, such as "Python Best Practices for Code Quality" and "Python: The Big Picture" from Pluralsight in May 2020 and April 2020, respectively. Asif has also obtained certifications in Git and REST APIs from LinkedIn in January 2020, along with advanced design patterns and design patterns in Python.
