Emma Gentry has a diverse work experience in various marketing and communications roles. Emma started their career as a General Manager at UNITE Group plc, where they managed student accommodation buildings. Emma then moved on to Charles Lucas & Marshall Solicitors as a Marketing Manager, handling general marcomms work and implementing the firm's rebranding. Emma then transitioned to Blake Lapthorn, where they took up multiple roles, including Senior Executive - External Communications and External Communications Manager. In these roles, they managed external communications, online projects, social and digital media planning, digital advertising campaigns, content strategy, PR, and website management. Emma also had the responsibility of managing a team and handling legal directory submissions. Emma later joined Blake Morgan LLP as a Marketing Communications Manager, leading a team in internal and external comms, events, web, PR, advertising, e-marketing, online advertising, and content marketing activities. Emma then became the Head of Marketing and Communications at Newbury Building Society, setting the marketing and communications strategy, managing the marketing function, and leading initiatives such as a new website project and the introduction of email marketing.
