Amanda Shepherd

Amanda Shepherd currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Newcastle Building Society, a position held since July 2024. Previously, Amanda held the same title at Hargreaves Lansdown from July 2021 to May 2024. Prior experience includes various roles at Barclays from August 2014 to July 2021, culminating as Managing Director and Head of Channels for the North Region, along with positions as Director for Virtual Channels Performance & Engagement and Performance & Strategic Planning. Amanda is an alumnus of Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, having completed the Certified Executive Programme in December 2019.
