Tim Dixon

Tim Dixon is an experienced Information Security professional currently serving as the Information Security Policy and Control Manager at Newcastle Building Society since August 2017. In this role, Tim successfully managed the transition and recertification to ISO 27001:2022 with zero findings, demonstrating strong project management skills. Tim has also held positions as Governance Risk and Capabilities Manager and IT Security Architect, where responsibilities included cyber insurance renewal, the creation of security frameworks, and effective risk identification. Prior experience includes serving as Compliance Officer at UK Independent Medical Services, where Tim contributed to compliance initiatives and the development of the Group Information Security Management System. Tim holds a BA in History (Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University and possesses a solid foundation in managing compliance and security within various sectors, including finance and healthcare.
