Cath Elsy

Cath Elsy is an experienced Early Help Development Manager at Newcastle City Council, responsible for the continuous development of Early Help services and the interface with Children's Social Care within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub. With a background that includes roles as Service Improvement Lead, Senior Parenting Practitioner, and Strengthening Families Coordinator, Cath Elsy has demonstrated strong leadership in implementing innovative parenting programs and managing multi-agency teams. Cath Elsy also served as a Visiting Lecturer at Northumbria University, specializing in Parenting within the context of psychological therapies. Previous experience includes working as a Senior Practitioner in Family Support at Barnardo's. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in Improving Access to Psychological Therapies, a Master’s Degree in Historical Studies, and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Politics from Sunderland University.
