Ben Stone

Ben Stone is a seasoned Performance Data Scientist currently with Newcastle United Football Club since January 2024. Previously, Ben served as Data and Performance Analytics Lead and Performance Technologist at UK Athletics from September 2018 to December 2023. Prior experience includes a PhD Research Student position at Loughborough University from October 2015 to March 2020, a Research Assistant role at the Sports Technology Institute, and an internship at adidas as a Sports Research Intern. Ben holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Analysis of Head Impacts in Cricket and a Master's Degree in Sports Biomechanics, both from Loughborough University, as well as a BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Leeds.
